No civil or criminal liability for giving information to the Commission
Under the law, a person is not liable to any civil or criminal action, including disciplinary proceedings,
for giving information in good faith to the Commission. Good faith means acting on an honest belief
held on reasonable grounds that the information was true at the time the information was given to

confidentiality provision or a duty of confidentiality, or any other prohibition or restriction on
disclosure under any other law of Papua New Guinea.
